What if my child's original creation is lost or damaged?
A torn page, a spilled drink, a box lost in a move. The physical original cannot be brought back, but the saved creation still holds the image, the child's words, and the story that goes with them.
A reprint is a copy, not the original
If the original is lost or damaged, you can reprint what we saved for you.
See what was saved
Open the creation in the family gallery. Look through every part if it was a card, comic, recipe, or other multi-part creation. Play the voice note and read the optional transcript. The image shows what the child made; the recording can preserve why they made it, who it was for, and how they sounded while explaining it.
Make a new copy at home
Tap Print this creation at home, choose a paper size, and check the preview. You can include a quiet caption with the title, child's name, and date, or leave the page as the child made it. Print directly, share a print-ready PDF, or save a high-resolution image. The home-print feature is available at no extra cost.
Keep the lost creation in its wider story
A collage can place the copy beside related creations: the other pages of a comic, drawings from the same week, or several experiments with one idea. Choose 2, 4, 6, or 9 saved creations from Gallery → Print at home. This does not replace the original, but it can preserve the chapter it was part of.
Little Binder cannot recover a creation that was never captured, and support cannot see a family's private gallery or invent a missing image. If a fragment or an older family picture of the creation exists, a grown-up can capture that now. You can also record the child's memory of it as a new creation. The description will not replace the missing work, but it may preserve a piece of the story.
A two-minute habit for the next favorite
When a creation feels important, capture it in even light, check that every side or page is included, and invite the child to leave a short voice note. There is no need to save everything. A few well-kept favorites, with the reason they mattered, can carry more than a perfect record of every sheet of paper.
If you want a more durable replacement
Home printing is the free first step. Little Binder is also preparing optional professional prints and keepsakes for families who want a framed copy, cards, a mug, clothing, or a small book. Those purchases are separate from the family plan and require parent approval before a creation goes to a print partner.
